Preschool and Child Care Enrollment Process in Austin, Texas

At The Children’s Center of Austin, Texas, we understand selecting a daycare and early childhood education center for a child is one of the most important decisions that parents make. We want to make the preschool and childcare enrollment process as smooth as possible for our families.

Enrollment can be done in person at any of our 2 locations. We look forward to meeting our families and being able to personally assist them with the enrollment process.

Tuition/Fees

An enrollment fee of $350.00 registers your child in our program and is due at the time of enrollment and every March thereafter. You may save a spot on our roster for up to 6 months if you're not sure of a start date for an application fee of $150. All fees are non-refundable.

Annual Supply Fees information:

  • These fees will be billed to your account twice a year in September and February.
  • A total of $210 for our Infant program through to our Young Preschool program
  • A total of $330 for our Preschool and Pre-K program
  • A total of $180 for our After-School program

Tuition is due in advance of services. Tuition is due on or before the 1st of each month. It is considered late at the close of the day on the 3rd of each month and will result in an automatic $50 late fee charge on the account.

A $30.00 fee is charged for returned checks and/or insufficient funds.

A 2.85% convenience fee is added when paying by credit card.

SmartCare

The Children’s Center of Austin uses software called SmartCare. SmartCare offers a billing and payment feature that includes account setup and approval, a fixed credit card processing fee, split payments, and mobile invoices. Parents can create digital libraries for their children, upload special childhood moments and share their content with other parents on social media platforms. SmartCare stores all records in a centralized database and allows users to look up child or family information. The solution sends child arrival and pickup alerts to parents' mobile devices.

Immunizations 

At The Children’s Center of Austin, we strive to provide our students, staff, and families with a safe and healthy environment, which is why we require all students to be immunized. As such, we do not accept immunization exemptions, and our team actively monitors and maintains student immunization records throughout the school year. Families that are unable to present the required immunization records will not be admitted to The Children’s Center of Austin.
